10 Most Famous Internet Dogs (Dog Celebrities)

Making millions online isn’t just for the Kylies and Ronaldos of the world, in fact, our furry friends can rake in the cash too! For some context, the biggest accounts can earn $15,000+ for a SINGLE Instagram post!

You’ve probably heard of Grumpy Cat, the internet sensation that went viral due to his constant frown, but today we’re focusing solely on dogs! Here’s a list of the 10 Most Famous Internet Dogs (Dog Celebrities), so sit back, relax and get ready to have your mind blown!

10) Cornelius the Corgi (@corgnelius)

If you’re a corgi lover then look no further,  you might’ve just found your new favorite Instagram account! The page is full of cute, adorable, and most importantly funny pictures of Cornelius!

Corgi means “dwarf dog” but it’s far from a small account, he’s racked up close to 85,000 followers! Corgis are fast becoming one of the most popular dog breeds, partly due to their ‘happy go lucky’ nature, but also due to The Royal Corgis owned by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth!

If you want your timeline to be blessed with a smiling corgi everyday then this is definitely the account to follow!

9) Sir Charles Barkley the French Bulldog (@barkleysircharles

French Bulldogs are the type of dog you absolutely love or absolutely no hate, there isn’t much in between. With that being said, Sir Charles is one of the most popular accounts out there, and it’s easy to see why!

His account is packed full of hilarious pictures and captions, alongside his constantly bemused expression.

His owners started the account a couple of weeks after he was born and it rapidly gained thousands of followers, he’s currently on track to join the 500k crew!

8) Norbert the Dog (@norbertthedog)

It’s not often that you come across a dog named Norbert, but it suits him perfectly! His Instagram is a goldmine full of priceless pictures that paint Norbert in a truly comedic way.

You’ll know you’re on the right account when you see his little pink tongue poking out in every picture! (Plus he has over 630,000 followers)

Norbert is a therapy dog and regularly visits Children's Hospitals, a true ray of sunshine!

7) Mishka the Talking Husky

As you can probably guess, Mishka became famous after clips of her talking immediately went viral, resulting in her racking up just under 1 Million subscribers on Youtube

She was initially recorded saying (or howling) “I love you” to her owner, as you can probably imagine this catapulted her to massive heights in the online world.

She is a Siberian Husky, a notoriously smart breed of dog but sadly her owner reported that she recently passed away at the grand age of 14.

6) Manny the Frenchie (@manny_the_frenchie)

Another Frenchie making the list is Manny, a wonderful doggo that seems to love the limelight, frequently posing for the Instagram page.  His Instagram account has over 1.1 Million followers!

There are plenty of famous Frenchies online, but nobody tops Manny. In fact, it’s not just Instagram that Manny loves, he’s regularly featured in TV advertisements too!

5) Minnie and Max the Pugs (@minniemaxpugs)

Whilst they only have 110,000 followers on Instagram, Minnie and Max have over 1.4 million followers on Facebook. They are known for their unique (and extremely cute) ability to tilt their heads at the same time.

They have even been featured on The Ellen Show among a bunch more TV programs too!

Take a look at their Facebook Page and try to tell me it isn’t the cutest thing you’ve ever seen!

4) Tuna Melts My Heart (@tunameltsmyheart)

Coming in at number 4 is Tuna, who has amassed a whopping 2.1 Million followers on Instagram! Perhaps one of the most unique dogs ever seen, Tuna is a true gem.

His Instagram provides daily laughs without failure, all due to Tuna’s unique facial structure. His overbite is extremely cute and funny, not to mention the hilarious outfits his owners put him in.

Tuna is a Chiweenie (a mix between a Chihuahua and a Daschund) who was rescued at birth, it’s safe to say he’s living a pretty luxurious life now though! If you’ve ever heard of the phrase “so ugly that they’re cute” it definitely applies to Tuna.

3) Marnie the Dog (@marniethedog

Another doggo with an easily identifiable tongue is Marnie. Marnie was rescued by her owner at age 11 with the expectation that she would provide a comfortable last few years, but that wasn’t to be the case. Marnie lived for a further 9 years before sadly passing away.

Within this time she managed to gain over 2 Million followers on Instagram. In pretty much every picture, Marnie is cheekily popping her tongue out to make some extremely funny pictures. Marnie was diagnosed with a condition at birth which resulted in a constant head tilt.

Don’t take my word for it, take a look at this.

2) Maru the Shibu Inu (@marutaro

Maru is arguably the cutest doggo on this list, she’s a Shibu that lives with her owners out in Japan. So whilst she lives on the other side of the world, you’ll be able to find her pretty much everywhere on the Internet.

She has over 2.6 Million followers on Instagram, earning her a well deserved 2nd place on our list. Her popularity coincided with the viral internet memes surrounding Shibu dogs, you know the ones we're talking about right? “Much wow” does that ring a bell?

1) Boo the Pomeranian (@buddyboowaggytails

Although Boo only has 600,000 followers on IG, he has a ridiculous 16 million likes on FB. Boo has regularly been voted the cutest dog on the planet, and it’s pretty easy to see why just take a look below.

Unfortunately, Boo passed away not too long ago in 2017 with his owner reporting it was due to a broken heart.
